The Great West Way
VisitWiltshire has been leading on developing a new touring route which will join up many of England’s iconic destinations and attractions along a corridor west of London through to Bristol.
The Great West Way links London and Bristol. It follows a 125-mile route based on one of the first Great Roads commissioned by the Kings of England.
Led by Visit Wiltshire and Visit England, the upcoming tourist trail from London to Bristol and Bath in the West has been named Great West Way. Along this exciting new route sightseers can explore some of the country’s most beautiful countryside and attractions, including StoneHenge.
The trail can be explored by train, car or coach, by boat, on foot or by bike. There’s also excellent connections to Bristol and Heathrow airports, and Channel ports.
